FC Cincinnati star Luciano Acosta is far along in the process to acquire United States citizenship, and with it, a path for eligibility to represent the U.S. national team, sources involved in the process tell The Athletic . The citizenship process has not been completed yet. Sources were granted anonymity as they are not authorized to discuss publicly until citizenship is filed.
