On October 3, 2023, U.S. Embassy Senior Defense Attaché, Commander Jeffrey Schwamb and Office of Security Cooperation Chief Lieutenant Commander James Jones met with Minister of National Defense General Josoa Rakotoarijaona to discuss strengthening military cooperation between the United States in Madagascar.
