A former well-known New Orleans judge and one-time candidate for district attorney is removing her name from consideration for United States Attorney here in the eastern district of Louisiana.
Keva Landrum confirmed her decision to WDSU Monday morning.Landrum, a former criminal court judge, was the presumption nominee for the New Orleans-based position as the area’s top federal prosecutor.WDSU first reported in 2021 that Landrum was set to be nominated by President Biden and go before the US Senate for confirmation.With only 18 months left on President Joe Biden’s term, Landrum has chosen to remove her […]
