U.S. Coronavirus Vaccine Deliveries to Egypt Reach 23.5 Million Doses

Cairo – On February 20, the United States delivered 2.2 million doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine to Egypt as part of its global campaign to defeat COVID-19. The delivery marks the latest milestone in U.S.-Egypt joint efforts to fight the virus. To date, the United States has delivered 23.5 million doses of the vaccine to Egypt—more than all other countries in the Middle East and North Africa combined—and encourages all eligible Egyptians to get vaccinated.
