United States Coast Guard Academy holds its 142nd commencement ceremony Wednesday

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) — Tuesday was a big day for honoring tradition at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London.

Tuesday marked the final regimental review before commencement. Regimental reviews are some of the oldest coast guard traditions which help cadets develop poise, confidence, teamwork and leadership through the exercise of command.

The Regimental Commander leads cadets in a march, that includes a precise set of commands and close-order maneuvering.
