Lloyd Jay Merino died peacefully at his home in Hooper, Utah on October 12, 2023 at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Jessen, his son David (Georgia) Merino, daughter Kathy (James) Oatfield, stepson Erik (Chan) Jessen, granddaughter Avery Jessen and brother Carl (Theresa) Merino. Lloyd was a proud member of the USMC serving multiple terms of duty in Vietnam followed by Active USMC Reserves, retiring after 23 years of service.
