In honor of Pride Night, the Hero of the Match presented by Pirnia Law for May 27 is United States Marine Corps Sergeant Rechelle Hoppers.
Sergeant Hoppers was born in the Philippines and moved here in 1992 with her mom. She has over eight years of service for the U.S military.
Hoppers graduated bootcamp at Marine Corps Recruit Depo, Parris Island, South Carolina. Her first duty station was at Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 26 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
