On January 26, 2022, the SEC issued a release (the ” Release “) proposing amendments to Form PF (the “Proposal”). The Proposal includes: (i) new current reporting requirements for large hedge fund advisers 1 and advisers to private equity funds, obligating such advisers to report a number of specified events to the SEC within one business day of their occurrence; (ii) a lowered threshold for large private equity adviser reporting; (iii) certain revised reporting questions for private equity funds; and (iv) enhanced large liquidity fund adviser reporting.
