US Soccer is hosting a match between Mexico and the USMNT. The organization is exempting itself from its own policy against homophobic chants that its own board adopted. US Soccer will ban the Mexico men’s national team from competing in the United States for two years if its fans engage in the anti-gay “puto” chant this week when the USA hosts Mexico, according to US Soccer’s own policy.
